To produce a tool that will assess the knowledge of athletic training students and provide administrators with program satisfaction assessments.
- Provide graduating students a bench mark of how they compare to similar students in other institutions and to reveal areas of knowledge weakness.
- Provide participating institutions with an objective yard stick (bench mark) by which they can measure themselves against similar institutions.
- Provide a repository and reporting engine that gives programs the compilation of the data needed to confirm their successes and their areas that need improvement.
- Establish a foundation for ongoing assessments of results for both students and institutions on a year over year basis.
- Collect and compile data to generate the information on how students are doing by institution, region, nationally, and how their achievements correlate with demographic factors, such as sex, age, and grade point average.
